Raziel was striding through the city he had discovered his lover in on a crisp spring day. His short, white hair stood out at its usual odd angles. He wore a pair of red  shorts that met his knees, a white button-up shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, a black tie, black boots, and bracelets all over both arms. The bizarre ensemble caused him to attract the attention of what few people were on the street at the time. Thought of Robin filled his mind...
And were promptly shattered when an ear-piercing scream thrust towards him through the air. Whipping his head around, the Eleduos looked for the scream and found that everyone had left the area. His mind buzzing, Raziel turned and stopped short.
A... a ninja appeared to be grapplng in the middle of the street with some sort of demonic water horse.
"What--?" was all Raziel could say before the black-clad ninja deftly stabbed the sea horse, which shrieked like some hellish creature out of a TV show. Throwing the scaly corpse off of himself, the ninja stood while Raziel was frozen in sheer awe. In its death throes, the assassin stabbed the bizarre water horse again, its cries stopping abruptly. Turning slightly to face the white-haired Eleduos, the ninja glared incredulously at him. Raziel could see the ninja's eyes through the hole in his mask, the only skin showing on the assassin.
"Oh--what--augh!" the ninja seemed to splutter in frustration, gesturing irritably.
"... Uhm..." Raziel began to speak before the ninja cut him off.
"No! God--no! Did you just see that?" the assassin demanded. Raziel nodded mutely.
"Why didn't you run like the intelligent people on this street did?!" the ninja yelled, spreading his arms in a questioning manner as he started to walk forward.
     "Well, um..."
"Forget it! Just get out of here before--" An animalistic shriek boomed suddenly and the ninja's face fell, looking darker and more irritable than before.
A giant, red dragon landed with a crash, crushing some treesin a park on one side of the road. Raziel's eyes widened as he craned his neck up to view the dragon, which roaed at the two.
"What are you doing?! I said GO!" the ninja yelled at the young man, abruptly hitting his shoulder to get him moving. As Raziel clumsily stumbled backwards, the ninja bolted towards the dragon. Hiding between a pair of buildings, Raziel stared on while the ninja soared into the air, landing blows upon the dragon's skull while it attempted to eat him.
Suddenly the dragon screamed and began to fall, the ninja hopping to safety. Which blow had been the death stroke? The ground shuddered as the dragon crashed onto it, dead.
Breathing out deeply, Raziel marveled at what he just witnessed.
"AHMYGOD!" he yelled when the ninja appeared stony-faced before him.
"Because you didn't run," the ninja said angrily, poking him in the chest, "I'm going to have to do something about this!"
     "What?! I'm sorry, I--"
"Shut up before I change my mind!" the black-clad assassin snapped.
     "Wh--"
     CRACK
     Pain in his head.
     Then only darkness.
Okay, so at school I'm in the Writer's Guild and we decided to do a writing excercise that day where we drew scenarios out of a hat and had to write about a specific character in that scenario. It was meant to be a short story.
I drew, "Your character meets a ninja, a dragon, and a kelpie." (A kelpie is a sort of demonic water horse.) I was like, YES!!! >D

Raziel is a character from the story I'm currently writing in my spare time, titled The Mad Hatter. You're not really supposed to know what an Eleduos is, or who Robin is, so don't worry about it.

I unintentionally ended up writing about a very irritated ninja. My friends think I subconsciously drew on Dr. McNinja for inspiration. I don't doubt them on this. (It proved to be hilarious and I love it.) I didn't intend for the ninja to be like Dr. McNinja or anything, but I'd been reading a lot of it lately, so that might explain a few things. lolz

I really like how this came out, so I decided to put it up. <3

Note: no, the ninja doesn't kill him at the end. He just knocks Raziel out. And "changing his mind" refers to "don't make me change my mind about NOT killing you."
